An academic drawing / Nude study of a nude man, late 19th/early 20th century, unsigned, but attributed to the Swedish artist and scene decorator Thorolf Jansson (1877 - 1931). Thorolf was the son of Johan Christian Jansson - see my other drawings for sale. Unframed. In a very good condition. The edges have som wear and tear. Some foldings (see pictures to make up your own opinion on the condition).

Thorolf Jansson (b. 1877 - d.1931) was a Swedish artist and theater decorator. He was the son of Johan Christian Jansson (1845 - 1899) and took over his father's occupation at the Royal Theater (Kungliga teatern) in Stockholm, where he created decorations for operas like Don Juan, Orfeus and other Wagner-operas - and he was recognized for his works. His works are on display permantently at the Stockholm Opera House. Thorolf Jansson is represented at the Scene Art Museum in Stockholm (Scenkonstmuseet).
