Black locust, scientifically known as Robinia Pseudoacacia, is a melliferous tree which grows easily on any type of soil. It originates in North America and is popular for its therapeutic uses. The flowers are picked, dried, and then used in natural pharmacy.

The genus is named after the royal French gardeners Jean Robin and his son Vespasien Robin, who brought the plant to Europe in 1601, in what may be regarded as a reintroduction. A black locust planted by Vespasien Robin still exists in the Square René Viviani in Paris.

Preparation

Pour fresh, boiling water (2,5dl) over one teabag of Black Locust Flower. Cover and steep for 10 minutes.

Consume 2-3 times a day.
