Measurements:
28" - Width measured along the dowel rod (tapestry slightly smaller 
51.5" - overall length from apex of hanger on top
41" - length w/o the tassels

One end of string/hanger is looped to go over the rod. . . the other end is sewn into the tapestry.

Can be used with either side facing out. . . i cannot tell what would be the front or the back. 

Tag says "Emerald Farms, Idllywild, CA." Owners are Thomas and Jeanne Fredericks. The inside of the tag says "handmade window or wall hanging." Best guess is the 1970s or 1980s.
