Weapons Three Set.

     The first book is "The MP40 Submachine Gun" by Mike Ingram published by MBI 2001 first edition. 

    Brand new condition hardcover in a new condition dust jacket that has not been price clipped. Pristine interior that is illustrated on every page. Some rare photos. Not an ex-library copy. No remainder marks.  B&W and a few color photographs and illustrations. 96 pages. Measures about 8.4" x 11.5".

   The second book is "Naval Weapons and Their Uses" published by United States Naval Institute Annapolis Maryland 1943 first edition. 72 pages. Stiff wrap covers.  Published in the depths of World War II, an illustrated manual of naval weapons used in the training of U.S. Naval cadets in Annapolis. Probably every naval officer who served in the later part of the war was educated with this manual. Lost of diagrams of contemporary naval weapons. Detailed glossary.  Measures about 7.5" X 10". 

    The third book is "Ordnance Replacement Training Center Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland" January 1954. 

 Aberdeen Proving Ground is the U.S. Army's oldest active proving ground established on October 20, 1917, six months after the U.S. entered World War 1Its location allowed design and testing of ordinance material to take place near contemporary industrial and shipping centers. The proving ground was created as a successor to the Sandy Hook Proving Ground which was too small for some of the larger weapons being tested. At the peak of World War 2 Aberdeen Proving Ground had space for 2,348 officers and 24,189 enlisted personnel. Hard back book. Measures about 9.3" x 12.2". B/W photo illustrated. Photo illustrated end pages. Included with the book is a fantasy pencil drawing created by the original owner.
