As most of you may be aware by now I have a penchant for skulls, human, animal, skull statues, skull pendants whatever, I also own a Victorian poison skull ring which was once owned by a doctor, why would he wish to poison his patients! a very modern minded physician don't you think?
Anyway, todays item is a beautiful skull pendant with a difference. It is made in the form of a Deaths Headed Moth, as you may see from the pictures it has been superbly made, a real classic.
It is 40mm in length x 55mm width, wing tip to wing tip, the detailing is superb dont you agree, yes i thought you would.
You will receive it complete with a twisted cord necklace so can wear it right away & impress your friends & make your enemy's green eyed with envy.
Oddly enough i purchased these to use them as adornments to my many different boards, the thought of them attached, glued i would think, to any part of the board would have aided its visual appearance, as they saying goes; 'if it looks magical then it must be magical!' What i didnt know at the time was that the attachment of the moth to the necklace was done not by the ordinary top ring as usual but by going through a loop welded to the underside of the moth, in fact this alone makes it hang superbly, it will hang flat against your chest, sorry against most peoples chests ladies i cannot imagine, well i can but wont tell you that as it can be seen as erotic or just plain sexist & in the current neutral political climate i wouldnt want to make a boob would i?
So there you have it or not as the case may be, a superb deaths headed moth pendant spot on for those with a ghoulish nature.

Soapbox time. Last year just prior to Samhain, i asked fellow occultists if any wished to accompany me on a secret trip to Highgate Cemetery to perform a 'All Hallows' ritual, i had many messages asking for details, many oddly enough coming from people living in London so getting to the place would not have been an obstacle. However, though i had promises of attendance from more than enough people to ensure the ritual worked & worked bloody well, on the night i was the only one there. Yes i crept into the cemetery just prior to gates lock time & waited until 2am before i gave up. I did conduct a smaller ceremony & thought it a shame that i wouldnt be around in the morning to see the visitors faces when they came across my chalked sigils, but by 4am i had done enough & honestly had enough so left. Strange how they lock gates you can easily climb over isnt it? There were others in the cemetery but none i wanted to meet up with, the white lady by the gates could be seen through the low lying mists & i presume the guy who made more noise than a herd of elephants was the highgate vampire hunter or just the vampire himself. This event made me realise that many people say they are studiers in esoteric wisdom but in reality the entire realm of Occultism is within their heads & there it will stay. I've been wanting to tell you that for a long time, perhaps some of you should start seriously thinking about what you are into magic for?
