Double VANOS Timing Kit Engine Tools designed to perform camshaft + VANOS timing on M52, M52TU, M54, M56 engine. It needed for assembly and proper timing the Vanos unit found on 1998 & newer 6 cyl engines.
Feature:
1. Made of heavy duty steel and lightweight aluminum, durable and portable.
2. Contains all the necessary, engine-specific tools to time the camshafts in M42, M44, M50, M52, M52TU, M54, M56, M50US and S52US engines.
3. All parts are well packed in a plastic case for easy storage and transportation.
Specifications:
Alignment Jig: Adjusting plate for setting valve timing on engine with double Vanos.
Sprocket Assembly Jig: Use for preassembling secondary chain sprockets with chain on camshafts.
Rigid Chain Tensioner: Use to tension primary chain
Chain Tensioner Lock Pin: Locks chain tensioner during timing
VANOS Compressed Air Connection: Use to pressurize the single and double Vanos unit when checking or removing and replacing.
