For your consideration is a darling Bronze Art Nouveau/Arts & Crafts Boudoir Lamp, circa early 1900’s.
We attribute this lovely little lamp to Riviere Studios based on its styling and twisted wire designs although we cannot rule out other great makers of the period. The base has a spotted bronze finish decorated with twisted wire designs around the sides and the two curled handles. The base rests on two ball feet and two turtle feet (love the turtles!). The shade has a domed shaped body with a rich brown and green patina.
Measures approx. 9½” tall by 9” at widest.
The lamp is in excellent antique condition with lite age-related wear. Overall,
everything appears to be original with no repairs although the inner switch and
cloth cord may have been replaced at one time. The lamp does work although
we do highly recommend (as with all used electrical items) that the
electrical components are inspected by a qualified person before use.
