INTENSIVE LASH AND BROW TINT
Application Instructions
FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY
We recommend that you carry out a skin allergy test 24 hours before the treatment. To do the test mix a tiny amount of the dye with one drop of the developer, and then apply to the crook of the elbow or behind the ear. 24 hours later, check the area for any signs of redness, rash or soreness, if you see any of these signs, do not proceed with the treatment.
1) Preparing the Client:
Client must be sitting upright in a chair with the head slightly tilted back. DO NOT APPLY IF THE HEAD OR THE BODY IS LAID BACK IN A RECLINED POSITION.
2) Preparing the tint:
Shake the developer well before use. Mix ¾ inch (2 cm) of Colour Cream with 2-4 drops of the Developer until the consistency becomes a creamy paste. (Ensure that consistency is not runny or drippy.). Let the mix develop for 3 minutes while the client is being prepared.
3) Preparing the area to be treated
Cleanse the area to be treated thoroughly ensuring that it is completely free of makeup, oil and grease. Use non-oily makeup remover ( ), then finish cleansing by wiping the area with a cotton pad damped in lukewarm water. Dry and then apply Skin protection cream () under the lower lid and around the eyes and / or eyebrows (if eyebrows also to be tinted) . Place protection pad () under the lower lid to prevent the tint from staining the skin.
4) Application
for eyelashes:
Using a tinting brush or application stick, apply the mix to the lower lashes first ensuring that the tint covers the hair from base to tip. Make sure that corner lashes are also covered. Then apply the tint to upper lashes from base to tip. Make sure that corner lashes are covered.
for eyebrows:
Apply the mix to the eyebrows using a tinting brush or application stick, ensure that you cover all hairs of the eyebrows.
When tinting is completed, instruct the client to sit quietly and relax until the end of the treatment.
5) Processing time:
this depends on the following factors: original hair colour, tint desired, coarseness and condition of the clients hair, and room temperature. Although the usual processing time is 10 minutes for lashes and 3 minutes for brows, these times may produce results darker than expected. If you are working with Middle Brown, Brown or Graphite, we recommend that you allow eyelashes to develop for 3 minutes and the eyebrows to develop for one and half minutes. Then cleanse them and check the colour. If the eyelashes and/or eyebrows are not dark enough, re-apply and allow to them to process again until the desired colour is achieved. A general rule is that the longer you leave it, the darker the colour you get.
6) Completing and Finishing the treatment:
Use a cotton swab dampened in soap and water to remove any tint from the skin. DO NOT USE TINT SPOT CLEANSER ON THE SKIN. DO NOT ALLOW THE CREAM OR DEVELOPER TO REACH THE EYES, NOSTRILS, OR EARS. IF THIS HAPPENS, IMMEDIATELY FLUSH WITH WARM WATER AND DRY THE AREA.
Gently Remove the eye protection pads. Then, with the clients eye closed, use a cotton ball soaked in warm water to remove product until no residues are visible. Use tissues to capture any dripping or excess.
NOTE: The colour of the mixture is not the colour that the hair will be once it is tinted. To get an idea of the final colour, leave a wooden applicator in the mixture for the desired time.

the developer may look a bit thick due to changing room temperature, this does not affect the product quality. Always store in cool place.
