Amanda de Leon, is known throughout the world for the energy, creativity, and originality of her work. She was born in 1908 in Spain, the daughter of Rafael Andrade, a well-known portrait painter in his own right. Although she was raised in Venezuela, she has lived in the U.S. throughout her entire creative period. Her beautiful and colorful works are strongly influenced by her Spain and Latin American heritage. Amanda de Leon died in 1990 but her amazing art lives on.
Up for your consideration is a vintage 64+ year old Tipped In print of Amand de Leon "The Volcano", an unusual find from a vintage art portfolio. The oil this print is made from was printed in New York by Fine Arts Publishers. The original work is in the Wolfgang Gurlitt Museum, Linz, Austria. It measures approx. 7 1/8" x 5 7/8" and the paper measures approximately 12" by 9" and is pre-mounted on black acid-free premium heavy weight paper.  It comes matted and ready for framing.
