When I was a child more than 40+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business. 

From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them!

This is an Antique/vintage 10k Yellow Gold Miniature Cast Iron Pot Lapel pin.

This measures approx. 9 mm x 7 mm (3/8"  x 1/4").

It is stamped 10k.
