Antique Chinese Bamboo Container with Carving Of Horses. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.

This is an antique object but not sure about its purpose. Two hollow bamboo are purpose cut to hold two metal parts that can slide up and down. The parts are connected to a ring perhaps it can be hung. Horses are carved into am the bamboo pieces. There are hairline cracks on the surfaces.
