This is a Brand New Lot of 2 (Two) 3-Way Phase-Focused Di-pole Crossover Networks ƒ=1.6Hz for M&K SUR55T, made for M&K by Tecate.
This crossover would be most suitable for two 3” mid-tweeters on each side of the speaker oriented in dipole fashion, combined with a front-mounted 1” soft-dome tweeter and a 5.25” midwoofer direct radiating. It will provide even distribution of sound throughout the listening area with pinpoint accuracy and an enveloping soundfield.
You may notice the four outputs to the crossover. Although there are four outputs, this is a three-way network. Two of the outputs (M1 and M2) are for the dipole.
It was originally designed for the Miller & Kreisel SUR55T Tripole Home Theater Speaker, so you may also use these crossovers as direct, drop-in replacements. If you were to open a brand new SUR55T, you'd find these exact same crossovers by Tecate in them, as Tecate is the supplier of crossovers for M&K.
