Available for immediate purchase is this long discontinued, 1940s vintage, made in France, guaranteed original and authentic, Repartee “Bouquet” (eau de cologne) splash in a generous 7-ounce (210ml) size by Lenthéric. All photos were taken in natural light at 40x magnification to best confirm overall condition. The buyer will receive the exact item pictured.

Please Note: This bottle is missing its front paper label. It can be identified as the “Boutique” variant (or daytime perfume) of Repartee via its teal Bakelite top cap with embossed bow on the top. Repartee bottles from the 1940s feature this style and color of top cap. This bottle also has an embossed patent number at the base, confirming that it is indeed from the 1940s.

Originally launched in 1938,
Repartee is classified as a floral scent with a musky base. Tope notes are neroli, bergamot, peach, and orange blossom. Middle notes are rose, jasmine, cinnamon, and carnation on a base of sandalwood, musk, vanilla, and civet.

Return Policy
My goal is for you to be pleased with your experience. Please contact me via eBay’s messaging system and I will take proper care of you. To qualify for a full refund, the seller must receive the returned item in the exact condition in which the seller originally sent the item. Returns with usage, damage, or leakage caused by the buyer (i.e. ruined boxes and/or labels; broken or tampered-with cording, stoppers, and/or seals) do not qualify for a full refund. In the extremely rare instance where the seller has reason to believe the original contents were either altered or removed/replaced by the buyer then no refund will be provided. Buyers who abuse the return policy or falsify item condition will be blocked from future transactions and reported to eBay.
