Cute True Vintage 1950’s Geometric Print Top And Skirt Set. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.

Another favorite from my collection that is ready for a new home. This adorable “by marie phillips” set has so many charming details from the geometrical diamond print to the modified roll collar to the large faux mother of pearl buttons to the peplum waist to the above the elbow length rolled sleeves to the salmon colored acetate half lined lining. Not to mention how flattering the fit is! The pictures really do speak for themselves though!

Measurements:

Top:

Bust- up to 42”

Waist- 27”

Skirt:

Waist-25”

Hips- 39”

Skirt length- 26 ½” plus 1 ¼” to let out

Fabric: wool blend

Condition: Very Good vintage condition- the acetate lining has some discoloration. The top button hole was hand stitched by a previous owner but it’s not noticeable when worn. The buttons have appeared to be moved in the past too. I have added two snaps to the top to prevent gaping when I wore it. They can easily be removed.
