By popular demand, I’ve designed and manufactured a replacement hood cap for Leica 14212. It fits several different lenses and lens hoods. I’ve designed it to have a much more snug fit than the original cap as it snaps over the whole front of the lens hood, instead of having just a small tab locking it in place. It’s also more discreet than the original as it doesn’t have a big logo on the front. The cap is manufactures in the same type of flexible plastic as the original cap, a material called TPU.
