Description:

Copper pipe rod is made from the material 2.0090. This grade represents deoxidized copper with limited residual phosphorus. It has very good weldability, hard and soft solderability and hydrogen resistance. The material has good resistance to drinking water and is therefore the main material for copper pipes drinking water. In addition to good resistance to drinking water, it also has high thermal conductivity. This feature makes the material well usable for copper pipe heating. 2.0090 has excellent formability and high corrosion resistance.

The main areas of application of copper pipe rods are due to high thermal conductivity (copper pipe heating) and good resistance to drinking water (copper pipe drinking water). It is mainly used in pipelines, such as in gas and water installations. Copper tubing is also widely used in heating and air-conditioning technology.
