Richly detailed, this large French 18th century-style frame is a fanciful bouquet of carved vines, leaves, and flowers. Pierced C-scrolls reveal mirror behind the frame and are echoed in the C-scroll feet. This listing is for the frame-only.

Mirror glass opening dimensions approximately 50 inches x 31.5 inches

Antique French Louis XVI Rococo-Style Ornate Gold Wall Mirror (frame and backing only.) The is no recessed area on this frame. It is flat. The mirror glass would need to be (cut to the same shape as the plywood backing but 1/2" smaller) sandwiched between the frame and the plywood. There are wood blocks along the edge of the plywood backing, that the mirror sits inside and is attached to.

This is a high quality compressed foam frame. The frame is in good condition. Solid and Firm. It does have one "chip" taken out of the side and bowed in one corner.  Priced accordingly. All my listings are of older, rare frames. Please see photos for details.
