Gold plating is a process where a layer of gold is coated on the surface of another metal. Therefore, care must be taken when using gold plated jewellery.
- Do not wear your jewellery underwater (swimming, bathing, shower, exercise, etc.)
- Avoid wearing your jewellery to sleep as it may bend the fine jewellery.
- Do not spray perfume or other chemicals on the jewellery.
- Use a dry soft cloth after every use, to remove dirt and oil.
- The jewellery may be washed in warm water with little soap. Then dry it with tissue paper.
- Wash jewellery with water and dry it with a soft cloth if it has sweat on it.
- Store your gold plated jewellery in a plastic bag or box separate from other items to avoid scratches.
- Store all items of jewellery in dry area.
