TRaqchi ceramics have been handed down from generation to generation and the historical and plastic memory of the Canchino people has been preserved.

The Raqchi pottery production process is complex, starting with the collection of the clay that is found, ground, sieved and mixed with water and sand to obtain a fine-textured paste.

The elaboration of the objects is carried out by hand, the application of the know-how and production techniques of the time, the use of red, green, black and white pigments for the ceramic decoration.

The iconography of Raqchi ceramics maintains the style of the time in the Tawantinsuyo, composed of a series of decorative representations and symbologies, such as parallel lines, checkers, rhombuses, squares, triangles, crosses, images of plants, insects, birds, fish, snakes, camelids and people in ancient costumes.
