For sale here is a vintage Somso anatomical model

RECONSTRUCTION OF PARANTHROPUS BOISEI SKULL.

Made by Somso in Bavaria, Germany We are not sure of the date but think it is probably 1960s-1980s

This fantastic model is natural cast, in SOMSO-Plast® the lower jaw is movable.It is a life- like reproduction of Paranthropus boisei  skull, a species is of Australopithecine found in Tanzania, Africa  in 1959

Age: Lower Pleistocene, approximately  1.8 million years old.

Separates into 2 parts.

CONDITION

This is a genuine vintage and as with any vintage item there may be signs of wear, whilst the overall condition is excellent there may a few chips and cosmetic marks 

Obviously this item is not new, it has been used in classrooms so there may be some light cosmetic wear, I have tried to photograph any wear I could see such a flaking paint, cracks or chips so please do check all photos carefully.
