Extremely rare 1920 PERKO torpedo boat destroyer masthead light by Perkins Marine Lamp & Hardware Co of Brooklyn, New York. It has a Corning glass globe. This lantern is pictured as Figure 68A in the 1920 Perko Catalog 5 on page 22.

This lantern was made specifically for torpedo boat destroyers and not the regular commercial I am very excited to be offering this wonderful Torpedo Boat Destroyer Masthead Oil Lantern Light . This lantern is in excellent condition through and through. The lens is mint with no chips, cracks, or flea bites. The body has no dents. The original font and burner are mint. The special kosmos burner is specially designed with a wick turner that locks into an exterior wick turner. The wick wheel turns the wick up and down smoothly. This lantern was made by Perkins Marine Lamp Corp. and distributed by Artistic Brass & Bronze Works in New York. According to the book, Perkins made lanterns for distribution for several companys such as National Marine, Universal Metal & Stamping,Keystone etc.
