Handsome BRASS  ANDIRONS DECORATIVE , FANCY AND  NOSTALGIC ! 

These Andirons are is one part of this Southern Antique collector's possessions , who as the old homes were destroyed  back in the 1930's- 1950'd, this collector carefully salvaged the old mantles and stored in for more than half of a century. 


They are very classical in design-very rich and dark dark bronze. Great definition. They are very classical in design.

it  would add a great accent to  a  period  Victorian home!

  I can not be certain of  exact date  but most probably from the late 1800s.

The columns are sturdy with what I think are called cabriole legs. In very good  condition with tarnish but no dents, cracks or repairs.

 SIZE IN INCHES: Approximately 22" high x 9 wide- and about  20 inches  deep

 These andirons have a beautiful  shape. Nice  heavy ones. The  handsome shape are  a handsome addition to your fireplace. These andirons are from my parent's home  where it  adorned  a elaborate  carved 1850's  marble mantle.
