For sale here is an original vintage roll down school chart of 
WATER LILY- JUNG, KOCH, QUENTELL

Produced by Hagemann in Dusseldorf, Germany in 1972.


This beautifully illustrated chart shows the water lily against a pale background. It shows the plant in full flower and in some anatomical detail.

Printed on paper and backed with canvas, 

CONDITION 
This chart has a black wooden dowel top and bottom.It has spent most of it's life rolled up in a cupboard so the colours are still fresh and bright.

Obviously these charts are not new so please check all photos before purchase. 

The overall condition is very good just a little light wear to the edges.



HISTORY
These old charts were produced as educational tools for schools and colleges by teacher Heinrich Jung, artist and biologist Gottlieb von Koch and college director, Doctor Friedrich Quentell.

First published by Frommann and Morian in the early 1900's Hagemann became involved in the production in the 1920s first in conjunction with Frommann and Morian then on their own from around 1963.
You can find modern reprints of these charts from many online sellers but they lack the atmosphere and history of the vintage ones.
