Vintage Toys from the 1950's in
their old Toy Basket 30 toys!
This basket of toys was my old toy chest from the early 1950's. After cleaning out the attic we discovered my old toy basket. My mother didn’t have heart to throw away any of the toys. Hidden for 50+ years, it is up for sale. Many of my old nostalgic toys from decades ago are collectible. The trunk has a collection of stuff: Old litho tin and hard plastic toys, old dolls,1950's plastic toy blocks with two sided alphabets and animal pictures
The 1950's was a popular decade for toy manufactures. Quite a number of toys which were first produced or designed in the 1950's went on to become famous and well known in today's world.
People
who grew up in the fifties and sixties are the biggest collectors of toys from the
baby boomer era--- These toys bring back pleasant memories of childhood.
I don’t have time to assess their value by checking out a value guide so I’m selling my basket of toys. The old primitive woven basket is brown in color and has a nice picnic lid with two wood handles. The Basket measures approximately 12” x 17.5” x 9.5”. Inside are all the toys. I numbered each of them and put each one in a plastic envelope.
If you are a baby boomer, or the parent of a baby boomer, you might remember children’s toys during the 1950s. This was back in "BC" - before computers - so kids didn't have screen time on devices such as cell phones and video games to keep them occupied.
For
RETRO decor devotees of the 50's. --these toys are of all shapes and sizes of
days gone by.
Condition: Some are broken and in need of repair but they make a great collection.
