You are viewing a Vintage 5" Clear Glass Heavy / Thick Candy Dish, Nut Dish or Bowl with a Metal Lid.  This is a beautiful bowl that has ribs around the sides and has a pretty floral or burst type design on the bottom.  The design is on the outside of the bowl so the inside is smooth making it easier to use and clean.  It measures 5 1/2" across, 2" deep, and 3/8" thick.  The ribs start out from the rim of the bowl allowing the edge of the lid to sit nicely on the bowl.  The lid is shiny metal and has a gold metal handle in the center.  This is a beautiful piece that can be used for many items at a gathering, graduation or birthday party, wedding, or in your own home for every day use or the holidays.  There is no original box or packaging but this appears to be new with no signs of use.
