 DESCRIPTION:

Offered is this beautiful early 20th century Chinese antique cloisonne, burnt sienna and mixed color, baked enamel and copper filigree, small 7" in height, floral decorated, classical shaped vase, with exposed copper rim and base. It's estate fresh and was found with several other pieces of cloisonne. The surfaces are still fairly glossy and moderately reflective. There's a very small, minor, shallow enamel bruise or knock near the base. This amounts to a small touch on the enamel surface and doesn't go down to the copper underlayment. As far as any damage goes, that's about it, with this beautiful vase free of noticeable dents, dings or deformities. The exposed copper elements also still enjoy their original copper patina. The baked enamel surfaces show signs of its vintage pedigree. There's also no significant loss or obvious edge flea-bites. A beautiful vibrant color combination, 7" tall Chinese cloisonne vase. Marked '6002/4, China' on the bottom, cleated copper baseplate. With diverse, intricately realized, highly decorative floral graphic iconography. Absolutely gorgeous. An early piece of Chinese cloisonne. Very nice.
