Nepenthes Nigra is a beautiful Highland tropical pitcher plant with pitchers that have a color contrast of very dark purple hue nearly black with speckles of green on the outside of the pitchers sometimes the speckles are faint. Germination Instructions:

Sow seeds a top Pure 50/50 Peat-Perlite or Pure Spahgnum Peat Natural Fiber - No Fertilizer Soil. Aim for atleast 90% humidity to germinate. Misting regularly after cotyledons emerge careful not to soak soil. You should provide 10-14hrs of sunlight daily or the equivalent in grow lights. Fertilize lightly with Maxsea ≤75ppm after pitchers emerge from seedlings.
