Restaurant ware cup and saucer from the Bay State Raceway (aka Foxboro Raceway), Foxboro, Massachusetts. Both the cup and saucer are date coded for 1960, Jackson China Falls Creek PA.  The Bay State Raceway opened in 1947 and operated for some fifty years (the name later changing to New England Harness Raceway and Foxboro Raceway) before finally closing for good in 1997. The facilities were later razed to make way for Gillette Stadium.

The saucer is about 5 5/8" in diameter and the cup is  3 5/8" wide by 2 1/4" tall.  The pieces are in excellent condition showing very little wear.  We have two cups and saucer sets, if you purchase both, we will be happy to combine shipping.
