Tripod set:
One tripod can be used in three different ways
This set is very easy to set up and use
  • Can be used as a conventional tripod to hang your cooking pot
  • Hang more than one cooking pot/dutch oven and kettle. The two legs with loops can be driven into the ground and the third placed between the two
  • Simple pot/kettle prop. Easy to set up there is no need to set up the complete Tripod for that quick brew.
Large cooking pots need a strong, robust and sturdy support as they are usually bulky and heavy. A steel tripod will support the weight easily.
When used as a kettle prop, this is a very simple method to support cooking utensils over a campfire.
Hand made here in the UK from 10mm Round Baar solid steel construction. Designed to last for years, EACH LEG IS 110cm long OR 43" Long.

Easy to set up a tripod anywhere using this pocket chain set. All you need to create a sturdy campfire Tripod is to add three sticks or poles.

The Tripod Chain set consists of a solid steel ring attached to a length of heavy duty chain which in turn has two hooks. Attach one to suspend the cooking pot and the other hook is used to adjust the length of the chain.

All you need to do is add three sticks or poles to create your own sturdy tripod. The sticks or poles are held together using the chain ring to form the tripod. The temperature of the cooking pot can easily be adjusted by raising or lowering the length of the chain on the attached S hook. This makes a strong, robust and sturdy support for any cooking utensils, small enough to fit in any pocket when not in use.

Within this variation, there is the option to purchase additional chains whereby a tripod can be made from sticks. Please see pictures.
