A spindle is a metal bar that passes through the door and secures the handles on both sides.

Fits in between door handles and operates mortice latches.

Sometimes the spindle between your door handles can wear over time or even twist due to force, this spindle offers a cheaper alternative to replacing and keep the handles.

The split slotted spindle is slotted at both ends. The split design provides a more secure fixing so when a grub screw is inserted through the neck of the door handle it opens the slot up and creates a wedge for a more secure fixing.

Suitable for: door handles, knobs and UPVC windows

Slotted / Split Spindle:

·        requires fixing

·        the screws are fitted through the door handle into the slots provided

·        the split spindle will create a slight opening (enlargement of the spindle) enough to secure the handle and to contain the force used to operate it

·        nickel plated steel

·        7 mm thickness
