SpaceX's Falcon 9 launch vehicle blasted off from pad the Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A at 8:02 a.m. EST (1302 GMT ) January 20th. The 229-foot-tall (70-meter) launcher powered northeast over the Atlantic Ocean on a trajectory to place 60 Starlink relay stations into an orbit ranging between 53 degrees north and south latitude.
