This listing is for Powers volume 2 from Image Comics. This reprints Powers' second arc (and issues #8-11) "Roleplay". Also includes all-new section "anatomy of a cover" - a gallery of Mike Oeming's unused covers and art with Bendis commentary.
About the comic:
The second story arc of the best selling Brian Bendis & Michael Oeming Powers series. Detectives Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim work out of the special homicide officers in charge of cases that involve Powers. But this case is the most disturbing one of their careers. A group of college kids who "role play" their favorite real life super heroes D&D style are being murdered one by one.
About the Creators:
Writer: Brian Michael Bendis
Brian Bendis’ contributions and creations to comic and pop culture are too numerous to mention. His earliest work (through Caliber Press) includes A.K.A. Goldfish, Fire, Torso, and Jinx. He moved to Image Comics where he wrote an acclaimed run of Sam and Twitch and Hellspawn, and later the Harvey, Eagle and Eisner award winning Powers. In 2000 Bendis wrote Ultimate Spider-Man, and with that a nearly two-decades run at Marvel where he contributed to nearly every Marvel character imaginable. He also created several new characters, including Jessica Jones/Alias and Miles Morales/Spider-Man. His works have led to plotlines in films and television. In 2017 Bendis moved to DC Comics where he’s been writing Superman, Action Comics, Legion of Superheroes, Naomi, Young Justice and Event: Leviathan.

Edition will be bagged and boarded (silver age size), placed between cardboard backers, and placed in a Gemini comic mailer. This is then mailed wrapped in a water/tear proof mailing envelope. I use painters tape to better secure packaging.
