Cordey Lady Bust Vintage Porcelain Figurine #5027
This lovely lady figurine is wearing a blue shawl and straw hat. She is adorned with pink roses and gold gilding. The details are made and hand painted. She was made by Cordey China Co. which was started by Boseslaw Cybis in 1942. The figurine measures approx. 7 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" across base. It has the number 5027 incised on the bottom.
Condition: It looks like the previous owner put what looks like white glue on her curls in two spots. It doesn't look to me like anything broke off. They may have been trying to fill cracks that were made by the manufacturing process. I'm honestly not sure. Please see close up photos. No other nicks, chips or cracks. There is fine all over crazing.
