Fostoria Milk Glass Large Hen on Nest HON Covered Dish Decorated Split Tail
This great milk glass hen on nest covered dish has a red comb and eye. He has a split tail and sits on a woven basket. Fostoria produced them in the 1960's. The dish measures approx. 5 1/2" wide x 7 1/2" long x 6" tall. There are 2 lines that look like either surface cracks or seam lines with embedded dirt in them. Each of them is right about where the seam line would be. Please look at my photos. The inner rim of the base has a 1/4" shallow chip that is not seen when hen is setting on nest.
