Description
Offered here is this amazing salvaged Antique Spanish Colonial Style Dual Light Sconce Fixture. I am unsure of its exact age, however, it most likely dates to the late 1920s or possibly 1930s. It is made of wrought iron, with some brass components. The fixture was salvaged from The Frederick Estate in California. It is in very good condition, and was working when it was salvaged, however, it will most likely need to be re-wired, and should be installed by a professional electrician. It is in amazingly good condition, with very little sign of wear at all. There are a few small paint smudges on it, particularly where it touched the wall, as well as on the faux candlesticks. It does have some small areas of oxidation on the inside at some of the joints. It is dusty and will need to be cleaned up. It has the imitation candlestick cardboard covers on the sockets. The fixture is made to two standard size lights and would look amazing with the type of light bulbs that resemble candle lights. The metal has a beautiful patina to it that only adds to the character and charisma of this fixture. The wrought iron has been painted to look like copper, and the brass also has a gorgeous antique patina that could be polished, but looks amazing as it is. The fixture is 12" tall from top to bottom, 13" from the top of the candlestick sockets to the bottom, 10" wide across the platforms that the sockets sit on, 5" deep front to back. It is an incredible salvaged light sconce fixture. It will be a beautiful addition to any home that makes a gorgeous unique statement.
