You are purchasing a 1965 Topps Battle Cloth Emblem - #4 "2nd. Divison." (one of the most difficult Cloth Emblems to acquire)

This IS the one Cloth Emblem (from the 24 cloth card sub-set) to this great vintage set. The Battle Cloth Emblems were offered 1 per pack when purchasing the Battle Cards. These cloth cards are "extremely rare" and very difficult to obtain. The problem was many of us "kids" removed the cloth from the card and stuck the emblem on our clothing, hats, books, furniture, or any thing else we could find! Subsequently, many emblem cards were NOT saved or collected.  They are highly prized with any 1965 Topps Battle Card collection.

This is PSA graded - VG-Ex - 4.

This will definitely  enhance the 1965 Battle Card collection. One that I would proudly display.

The 1965 Topps Battle cards comprise of a 66 card set. The first 53 cards depict battle scenes while the last 14 cards have 2 checklists and highlights of the WW II Allied leaders and fighting forces. These cards show through sensational bloody scenes battles during World War II. Additionally, every pack of cards originally came with a 1 of 24 cloth emblem card. These are extremely difficult to obtain.

This is the one card form this highly collectible and sought after 66 set to the 1965 Topps Battle set. This set is still considered a nice set from the non-sports cards sets of the mid 20th century.

This card will make a great addition for your set building, or an excellent starter card if you are starting your 1965 Topps Battle Cards collection!

I have been collecting these classic collectible cards since their release in the mid 1960's. They are a interesting source of history from the mid 20th century and especially World War II. Like the Horrors of War set from 1938, there "might be" a bit of propaganda regarding the Axis forces during that time in our history. These cards like the 1962 Topps Civil War News cards were done by the famous artist, Norm Saunders. Cards come with a great writeup on their backs pertaining the front's picture.

Truly, a great set!
