BC Comics Johnny Hart Vintage 70s Thor Caveman Set 6 Pinched Glasses & Pitcher

These glasses and pitcher are all part of the promotional series of BC Comics by Johnny Hart and distributed by Marathon Gas Stations in the 1970s. They are a must have for any BC Collector.

Details:

·      Glasses are 5 3/8” tall with pinched bottoms & measure 3” diameter at bottom, tapering to 2” at top. They hold 12oz.

·      Pitcher is 9” tall and measures 6” at bottom tapering to 5” at top.

·      The glasses depict a graphic image of Thor: a self-proclaimed ladies' man; inventor of the wheel and the comb.

·      The pitcher depicts 3 characters: Thor; Grog: a caveman’s caveman - a primitive, semi-evolved wild man with a one-word vocabulary and enough strength to knock the sun out of the sky using a golf ball, and; The Fat Broad (aka Jane) : a bossy cavewoman who enjoys clobbering snakes.

The glasses & pitcher in the photos is what you will receive. They are brand new and were obtained and collected by aunt during the Marathon promotion. I inherited them from her, have never been used and are in perfect condition.
