Welcome to my listing for the door interlock assembly, If your machine keeps telling you to close the outer door and press start then your lock is likely to have failed. There are 2 types of lock fitted to the CR01 machines dependant on when manufactured, Early machines are fitted with a straight emergency release tape which threads between the front crossmember and detergent dispenser body whilst later CR01's and all CR02's were fitted with a different front panel design and the release tape is angled and comes away with the panel. this can be identified as on early models the release behind the soap tray front is approximately 8mm (3/8") and is almost flush with the front panel whilst later front panels the release lever is 12mm(1/2") diameter and stands forward of the panel. the ist 2 photos show the new type lock assembly, photos 3 & 4 show the old type and the last 2 show both side by side.

A decision to cease machine refurbishment due to difficulty in sourcing certain cosmetic trim parts and complete machines which are suitable for refurbishment and therefore to move solely to supporting supplied machines means I can now release for sale a quantity of tested high quality used genuine spare parts.
