My dream ring has always been Kim Kardashians cushion cut engagement ring to Kanye. Instead of paying $1.5mil I had my own moissanite replica made however it’s unfortunately too big so I have made another in a smaller size.

I chose a smaller stone than Kim Kardasians to make the ring more passable as authentic. So far EVERYONE thinks its a real diamond. It would take an experienced jeweller to identify this is moissanite. I paid in excess of AUD$5,000 to custom make this ring for me to the highest standards so that it looks 100% passable as a diamond.

The ring comes will complete papers and you may try it on or view it in Vaucluse.

Moissonite sparkles more than a diamond and is truely beautiful. Heres some information about Moissanite gems.

ABOUT MOISSANITE

Moissanite isn’t a fake diamond, it is its own gem and chemical composition, cubic zirconia may be a better-known diamond alternative, but it doesn’t have the same unique qualities as moissanite. For a long time, the only alternative to a diamond was cubic zirconia, cheap, and somewhat nasty, as it will get cloudy, chip easily and lose its brilliance VERY fast.
Moissanite however is incredibly hard, never clouds or loses its sparkle, and thanks to the innovation of facet patterns, it looks identical to a diamond.
Moissanite and it's discovery
They say that moissanite is a gemstone born from the stars. It was discovered in 1893 by French scientist Henri Moissan inside a meteorite crater in Arizona. He thought he’d just found a diamond and after studying it in a lab, Moissan found out it was silicon carbide, which he named moissanite.
Where does Moissanite Come From?
In recent years some quantities were found in Israel - however, mined moissanite isn’t suitable to be used in jewellery. So this gem is lab-grown these days, which makes it environmentally friendly and conflict-free.
Growing moissanite in a laboratory isn’t easy or straightforward either. Only a very few companies in the world can create this complex process of growing moissanite gems. It is certainly a mix of science and art.

This makes moissanite rarer than diamonds.
Moissanite is VERY strong wearing
While moissanite looks and behaves like a famous diamond, not many know it is more brilliant than a diamond. That’s because moissanite reflects more light. This clever gem can also stay brilliant for longer as its surface attracts less grime and dirt than diamond. So it sparkles for much longer between cleans.
It is made to be worn every day no matter what conditions, as it’s very durable and scratch and heat-resistant. Moissanite is harder than rubies and sapphires with the Mohs hardness scale rating of 9.25. Being heat-resistant brings a massive advantage to moissanite, and this is why:
● Repairing your moissanite jewellery is easy and will not damage the jewels.
● Gems can survive extreme temperatures like fire.
Moissanite is also REALLY affordable!
You’d think that something rarer and more brilliant than a diamond would be expensive, but the answer is no. Moissanites are generally lower in price than diamonds, making them very affordable. Jewellery with moissanite allows its owner the option of choosing a large gem size they truly desire without the HUGE budget needed for a similar sized diamond.

Moissanite the ethical choice
The diamond industry has very questionable ethics even today ( Goggle De Beers “diamond cartel ” and you can read all about the many unethical practises the diamond and jewellery industry turn a blind eye to).
By choosing moissanite you can be assured it’s created in an ethical and sustainable way – plus you get the “diamond” look for a fraction of the diamond price!

Other facts

On the Mohs scale, Moissanite gemstones are a 9.25 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness, so they are suitable for everyday wear.

It takes an experienced diamond enthusiast or professional to tell the difference between a diamond and a moissanite.

Moissanite has a refractive index from 2.65 – 2.69, which is higher than a diamond.

Because moissanites are lab created, they are an appealing option for those seeking an eco-conscious gemstone as they require no mining.

Moissanite is one of the toughest known gemstones which makes it perfect for an engagement ring, a piece of jewellery that is usually worn every day. Studies in high pressure research have shown that moissanite is highly resistant to breaking and chipping.

Why buy Moissanite?

Moissanite is a fraction of the price of diamonds and lab-diamonds. They are perfect for the following reasons

There is no shame in wearing a non-diamond diamond. In fact it's becoming more and more accepted to be more responsible financially and socially. It is 2021 and we have more important things to worry about than "is the ring real?". Kim Kardashian even came out and said since her robbery every single piece of jewellery she has worn has been borrowed or not a real diamond. If it's good enough for Kim its good enough for me.

Enjoy!
