Description

Here is a really fabulous antique french silver sliding Mirror locket. The locket is large & measures over one & a half inches by two & a quarter inches including the bail & is all made of a early silver coloured metal, not marked where i can see. This locket is really beautiful with one side having raised engravings of holly & the other having embossed engravings of bleeding heart which all gives a really lovely finish. The locket comes with a large bail for attatching a chain & nicely the locket slides open to reveal its early origional mirror still in good condition. This piece is antique & dates to around the art nouveau era & as with age the locket closes but doesnt sit tight on one side but this certainly doesnt detract but just mentioned for total accuracy, see pics & this locket origionates from france.. This really is a beautiful antique french slide locket pendant in good origional complete condition as stated & fine quality example of these, that looks so striking worn that would make a beautiful gift & a very rare example.
