This is a Standard ISO Hot Shoe to Sony/Maxxum Hot Shoe allows you to turn a standard (ISO) hot shoe into a Sony or Minolta Maxxum hot shoe. So it will allow a flash adopts Sony/Maxxum Hot Shoe to be used on a camera adopts standard (ISO) shoe or a Sony camera adopts a Multi Interface Shoe (such as Sony RX1).
