We are delighted to offer this wonderful and supptously small George III period felt embroidered collage picture. This delicious example dates from the 1820 period with its original bubbled glass, gilt slip and yummy Mahogany Oval frame. RARE INDEED TO FIND ALL THREE ORIGINAL COMPONENTS!

We call it a felt work but it is actually a heavy wool nap. The original colors have faded, all except the bright red Stroud cloth. This was woven in the Stroud Valleys in Gloucestershire and used for English Military  Uniforms during the 18th century.

Oval frame measures 10" by 8.25"
