Cable fly lead, extension

Condition: Brand New

Dispatched same working day. Dispatched Royal Mail First class

However because there is a Royal Mail sorting office in Woking, we have a collection point at 7pm and so there is a good chance that we can dispatch to you on that same day even if you purchase late in the afternoon. We also use Hermes, and their collection can be up 8pm.

Please note: You are purchasing one fly lead cable. If you want to move a Virgin box, one fly lead is required, however if you're moving a sky+ box you will need two fly lead cables. Or you could buy from my site a twin shotgun cable instead.

Using one of the best screw type F plugs around - Antiference and Blake.

This lead is normally used for a satellite connection from a wall socket to a satellite box or direct to a Tv with a satellite decoder inside.

Using high quality cable and two high quality F plugs

However the chances are you are simply moving your satellite decoder (Sky) from one side of the room to the other. In which case measure your room from corner to corner (where you are going to put the TV) and add on a metre or so cable and then pick the best length for you -- 3 metres, 6 metres, 9 metres. You can always cut the cable down to the right size if you want. Just make sure you copy the fitting that I have made on the cable.

Just to recap:

While Virgin needs one cable, normally from a coax cable from outside, Sky of course needs two cables that come from the dish. So simply order two. You also get discount when you do.

Now for some technical details

Just a general note: the best way to unwind the cable is to unwind it as if it's on a reel. That way it won't tangle. I've been using coax cable for nearly 40 years and I still occasionally get caught out.

And now a bit about packaging

If it is possible I will use packaging that I have sourced myself, either from my own packaging or from other establishment. Where this isn't possible I will source from a recycling company.

In respect of packing tape, where it is more difficult to buy recycled, I will do my best to minimise the amount I use without jeopardising  the contents. Because of this it won't be possible at all times to give you a pristine parcel.

I of course give you a one percent guarantee that if the item has been damaged then I will either replace the item or give you a refund, whichever you choose.

Recyclable packaging:

This is packaging made of materials that can be used again, usually after processing. Recyclable materials include glass, metal, card, paper and – increasingly – certain plastics. However, by far the most common form of recycled / recyclable packaging is corrugated cardboard. parcel.
