Yarn is not uniform in thickness, it has thicker sections that look like tiny cocoons or oblong beads, adding extra detail to this lovely and unusual trim. Please see close up photos for details

It is quite light in weight so suitable for dressmaking and trimming shawls, but could also be used for bedspreads and lighter upholstery projects
