This engine was purchased as a spare for a Mercedes 350 SL 1972 but after having storing it  for some time have decided to advertise it to make space in the garage, as it is unlikely to be needed.

It came from a Mercedes 350SE saloon and when it was purchased, it was advised that the engine was running well, but is being sold as seen with no guarantees.

The engine turns over well manually, and the timing chain and tensioner have been renewed.

Oil has been put in the bores and the engine has been turned over regularly over the years.

The engine has always been dry store and is presently sitting on a wheeled trolley to allow ease of movement for a new buyer.
