This artisan work was made by the women of the Shipibo tribe, a tribe that lives in the Peruvian jungle and known for the traditional rituals of ayahuasca and traditional natural medicine with plants.
The Shipibo believe that the patterns are healing mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. This blanket is handmade by the craftsmen of the jungle.
