We are delighted to offer this Art Nouveau period vase in pate-de-verre, signed in relief by Richard Birgsthal (1884-1944); for Loetz in Bohemia. This lovely piece features a well cut cameo floral design and striking Deco look. It measures approximately 8.75" high x 3.5” diameter and. It is gently used with a production occlusion in the neck.

Loetz produced cameo glass under the name 'Richard' in the 1920’s to satisfy demand for cameo glass within the Parisian market. The French company Etling sold Richard cameo glass in Paris in the 1920's. Richard was a retail outlet in Paris owned by Edmond Etling. Etling commissioned Loetz to create French style cameo glass that they could sell in their Richard boutique.
