What is borage oil organic cold pressed?

Borage seed oil organic, or starflower oil, is the oil obtained from the seeds of organic Borage plants. Certified organic by the Soil Association, our borage oil is cold pressed which means that it is extracted by pressing only, at under 35C. Borage oil is yellow in colour with a neutral scent.

Borage oil organic has a medium comedogenic rating and works well for those with combination or oily skin types. Borage oil is well known for its high content of the essential fatty acid Gamma Linolenic Acid. The high GLA content means that the oil is super hydrating and nourishing.
