Up for your consideration is a extremely scarce vintage original mahjong poster of The Eight Immortals c. 1940s - 1950s.

This poster measures approximately 29.5" w x 20" h.

The posters was never hung. There are no tack holes or tape residue. When I aquired this poster, its was framed behind glass. The framers stamp was on the backside and It was framed at The Montgomery Block building in San Francisco. The Montgomery Block building was demolished in 1959.

The poster exhibits some slight wavyness in various areas, but nothing obscene.

There is some water damage mostly to the top left corner and bottom edge (see pics). In my opinion, there is so much going on in the artwork of this poster that the water damage sorta flows into the artwork. Its not really obscene looking. You cant even see the water damage at the bottom.

There are to small punctures, please see last picture.

This poster is extremely scarce, a real rarity. The detail and the colors in the artwork is exquisite.
