The neem tree more commonly known as Neem is a sacred tree, native to India.

This oil is traditionally used by Indian farmers as a natural fertilizer, pesticide and insecticide.

Thanks to its richness in oleic acid, Neem oil is today an oil used in cosmetics.

Properties:
Neem oil has many properties and finds very useful application for humans, plants and animals.

Neem oil is antibacterial, antifungal, insect repellent, and nourishing.

Regenerating and hydrating, it is excellent for the care of tired skin and prone to skin problems.

This oil is in solid form above 20 ° C.

 

 

Indications:

-  for the care of problem skin (acne, parasites, fungal infections, skin infections, etc.),

- mosquito repellent lotions,

- anti-lice lotions or masks,

- anti-flea lotions,

- care of animal hair.

 

Application advice:

 

- Skin care :

 

Given its strong smell, it is better to dilute it with other vegetable oils or essential oils.

It can be integrated as a fatty phase in the composition of creams for the body and the face.

In skin application on irritations, redness, acne, on chapped skin. Also calms itching due to insect bites or fungal infections.

 

As a mosquito repellent: use a few drops of oil on the hand slightly damp. Rub hands quickly to emulsify the few drops of Neem oil. Apply to the face and all exposed parts of the body. Repeat the operation 3 times a day.

Apply it in a thin layer on the skin to form a protective and repellent film.

 

For muscle pain: in massage, Neem oil helps fight muscle pain.

 

- Hair care :

 

For anti-dandruff and anti-parasitic use: add a few drops of Neem oil to your usual shampoo.

 

- Veterinary use:

 

In veterinary hygiene Neem oil is used for hair care.

Against ticks and fleas: mix a few drops of Neem oil with your pet's shampoo or use pure Neem oil, and apply directly to the animal and let sit for an hour, in the sun or outside, and rinse with the usual shampoo of your animal.

 

It can also be sprayed in stables, when animals are outside, to act against flies and other harmful insects carrying diseases (non-toxic repellent). It is not recommended to leave food and drink of animals during treatment as they could take on a bitter taste.

 

- Domestic use :

For protection against dust mites: Prepare in a sprayer a 5% solution of Neem oil in water and shake vigorously before use, then spray on the areas where dust mites are retained (mattresses, curtains, etc.). Make a test beforehand to check the resistance of the fabric.

For plant protection: Prepare in a sprayer a 5 to 10% solution of Neem oil in water and shake vigorously before use, then spray the plants (preventive or curative).
